The nationally-renowned PS22 Chorus, a 5th-grade chorus from Staten Island, is coming back to East Brunswick for another amazing free concert in support of the Daniel Pearl Education Center (DPEC) on Thursday, June 1 at 7 p.m. The concert will be hosted by Temple B’nai Shalom, 15 Fern Road in East Brunswick.

The PS22 Chorus, which has performed for the DPEC on several previous occasions, has gained national and international notoriety for its performances with Katy Perry, Queen Latifah, Tori Amos, Garth Brooks, Jason Mraz and others and whose widely publicized performance of  “Over the Rainbow” closed the 83rd annual Academy Awards. The chorus’s videos have been watched nearly 90 million times.

PS22 is the largest elementary school in Staten Island, and students come from a wide cross-section of ethnic groups and socio-economic levels.

There is no cost for the concert, and children are strongly encouraged to attend.
