Even though Mother Nature didn’t cooperate on a somewhat rainy Sunday, more than 75 golfers dodged the raindrops to support the Daniel Pearl Education Center (DPEC) Golf Classic — back after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The Classic was held at the Royce Brook Golf Club in Hillsborough.

“It was so great to reconnect with everyone once again, and we heard so many kind words about the golf outing and great questions about our continued work on behalf of the DPEC that it made it all worthwhile,” said DPEC chair Dr. Andy Boyarsky. “Thanks to all of our golfers and our fantastic sponsors, we hit our fundraising goals and can’t wait to move forward with our upcoming community-based programming.”

The DPEC will announce its date for the 2022 Golf Classic over the coming weeks.
